Andrew is a heart breaker, period. He has the most expressive eyes I think I’ve ever seen for a six month old. Very happy, very aware and such a lady killer! I could hang with him all day! Ughh, just wait until you check out his pics, you’ll be all awwwwww, I love him too….or at least that’s what my inner monolog is saying. Seriously, get this kid a bow tie!

Dani { Senior Session} Rad

Dani found me by a simple google search and dear lord am I happy she did. Dani is an amazing person inside and out, very chill, very laid back….I’m jealous of her. (In the best of ways) During our pre shoot consult Dani showed me some inspiration shots which expressed her style, her vision. Her main inspiration was Free People (ahh to die for!!) So I brain stormed and pondered where would be the best setting, the best environment. Ahhha! For years I’ve been driving past an abandoned farm and I’ve always thought, I’ve got to photograph someone here. I’d drive past in awe of it’s wonderful dilapidated glory. It came to me, I found the right person and it was perfect!

Dani, I know you’ll have the time of your life in Boston and I wish all the best. You’re a pretty amazing chick!

*side note I’ve learned a hard lesson. From now on I’ll be wearing Deep Off Woods during summer sessions (feel the deet burn). 5 ticks were on me!! But I’d do it again in a heartbeat.*

Jason + Lena {Courthouse Wedding} Lancaster, Pa

I have a new love, Courthouse Weddings!! Jason and Lena’s Courthouse, Justice of the Peace, whatever you want to call it, was the second wedding I’ve photographed this year. On Valentine’s Day I received a call on a whim asking if I could photograph their JP Wedding. These weddings fill my documentary soul with tons of goodness and love!

Jason contacted me a couple of days before their wedding and I eagerly said yes, yes I’ll do it. Having a midweek wedding is really cool too. I felt all special. I can’t thank Jason and Lena enough for including me as part of their day. Their family and friends were so warm and inviting. Lena’s family lives in Ukraine so I promised a longer than usual blog post for her family to see.

Nate + Jen {Cairnwood Mansion} Wedding

Cairnwood Mansion in Bryn Aythn, Pa is perfect for winter weddings. Conisidently I’ve only photographed winter weddings at Cairnwood. I know they are very well known for summer weddings, go figure?! AND I can’t even begin to tell you how freaking cute the town is. It’s like a wooded gem. (I’d expect to see gnomes running around) I’m hoping to take Brylyn there next year for our Christmas card shoot.

Jen and Nate’s December wedding was a great way to close out 2011 for me. Georgous details, lots of smiles, tons of laughter and style out the wazoo. Cigar roller, chocolate martinis, their cake…oh my gosh, Renee out did herself. Fully edible cake shaped as a present with balls and bows. AND Philly cheese steaks! I was sold. Jen your hard work paid off and your wedding was beautiful.

Bryan + Jamie { Lily Manor, Mifflin Pa } Wedding

Saturday Sept 24th, the rain stayed away, the sun shined and Jamie married Bryan. The end right? Well, not really lets back track. When Jamie and Bryan came in for their consult I knew they were a fun time, lots of smiles and warm hearts. I knew we’d clicked but they had to feel it themselves too. I had the inner monolog of please book me, please, please, please. Their wedding was held at the beautiful Lily Manor in Mifflin Pa. I was so stinking excited and counted down the days till their wedding. Plus their colors were black and red, my fav! Lily Manor is…..I can’t even describe it….Auh-mazing! All of Jamie and Bryan’s finishing touches complemented the existing environment perfectly. Two weeks prior we had the flooding rains…eeeks, but better then than the 24th!

Truffle cake, sunflowers, red and black color pops, first look session, Darth Vador, red balloons….seriously they were after my heart.

Andrea’s senior session; totally awesome. During our per shoot chat I knew Andrea would bring it. She has killer style, fashionista, she’s a dancer, lover of the big city and she’s grown up with horses….12 year old Krisha wanted to squeal when she asked to be photographed with her horse. Of course!! Gaining a sense of Andrea and her personality really helped me pre plan her session. By gaining a sense of her style I knew how to really allow Andrea to shine and have her session be, her.

I had a great time running around on a beautiful fall Monday. Thanks Andrea and pre congratulations on graduation! Go 2012 Seniors!
